Imperfect progress...

My writing 'on-the-go' method

Everyone has their method when it comes to writing 'on-the-go.' I never could get into the talk-to-text feature because honestly my mind goes blank when my fingers aren't stroking some keys. So I found what works for me is this:

“To some, this may seem tedious but it certainly helps with my peace of mind.”

I always keep the Master Story Document on my home computer. I NEVER write directly into this document. When I write in Microsoft Word (whether on my desktop in my office, on my laptop in bed, or on my phone while my kids are playing at SkyZone) it's always a separate, brand new document. I then save it, email it to myself, and every night I copy and paste the new sections into my Master Story Document. That way, I don't have to worry about syncing, or losing my story while trying to transfer it between multiple devices. And in the event something does happen with my computer, I've got every piece saved in my email as well. To some, this may seem tedious but it certainly helps with my peace of mind.
