I’m Wide Open

I had my first Facebook interview with the Sisters Into Reading/Reviewing Book Club (SIRR) last week. Check it out below! SIRR: Hey Briana, can you tell us a little something about yourself before I start? Briana: My pleasure! I pen under the name Briana Cole and I write urban romance fiction. I’ve been writing since I could hold a pen, lol. I went to school and studied Creative Writing at Georgia Southern University. Now, I’m beyond excited my writing career is taking off! SIRR: How many books have you published thus far? Briana: I self-published my first short story recently and it is now available completely free on my website at www.brianacole.com. My debut novel will be released in May. That’s all I have under my belt so far but there will be PLENTY more! SIRR: Why did you decide to write under a pen name? Briana: I decided to write under a pen name for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, ‘Collins’ is my married name and we’re divorced, lol. But mainly because I plan to eventually branch out into different genres and I don’t want to be just associated with the adult content I write now. SIRR: What genre will you write mostly in? Briana: To start, I plan on sticking to the urban romance/urban erotica category. But I’ve been working on some suspense thrillers, fantasy, and even a children’s book (Hence, the pen name). SIRR: So what made you decide to write erotica? Briana: I grew up reading Zane back, forth, and upside down. I enjoy reading erotica and I have even more fun writing it. SIRR: How did you come up with the...

This thing is HUGE!

Everything is taking off so well, I hope I can handle what’s in store! Not only is my audience growing, but my publisher organized a marketing campaign with a very reputable promotions company. She was afraid they wouldn’t agree to work with me initially because of the explicit material. Either way, they agreed so now I have to get some things together for them. And get this! I sent out a few emails to campus radio stations and popular national stations (such as 107.9, V103, etc.) inquiring about a possible guest spot and author interview. So yesterday, I damn near fell out of my seat when Joyce Littel contacted me about possible appearing on her show Love and Relationships. She requested I send her a few email snippets of my book so now, I’m just waiting for her response. I’m trying not to get my hopes up because again, my book is explicit and may be too much for her show. But I angled my email to show my book discusses relatable relationship topics that would appeal to her audience, such as betrayal, trust, trying to not let the past control your present. The way I see it, she’ll either love it or she’ll hate it, lol. In other news, I’m in the process of making some drastic revisions to the book. I received some constructive criticism from a few test readers and both indicate the book needs more. More drama, more sex, more things going on. It was not a problem to make those changes because I going to reserve some storylines for the prequel. But a) I don’t...

Sexprov, eshort story excerpt

I’ve always thought they needed rehab meetings for freaks like me. I probably wouldn’t go, but if I did, I’m sure my introduction would be along the lines of, ‘Hello, I’m Malaya and I am addicted to all-things kinky.’ It may seem funny to some, but I’m so serious. When it comes to kinky shit, I’ve always been a risk-taking kind of bitch. Maybe it’s some nagging curiosity to experiment. Ooohhh, what does that feel like? Or chalk it up to some kind of unquenchable sexual appetite. Now, I’m not always a giver, but I’m damn sure open to receive. Threesomes, toys, bondage: been there, done that. Once, I even had a guy lavishly indulge in some sort of fetish with my ass. No joke. He actually had me squat over his face and spread my ass cheeks so wide I thought they would split apart. He then proceeded to use his tongue to caress the crack of my ass until I was moaning and bouncing against the steady rhythm of his licks. Then, when I felt my juices beginning to trickle, he stiffened his tongue and used it to fuck my asshole until it was saturated with saliva. So much attention had me good and relaxed, because I even passed a little gas, and he buried his face between my cheeks, moaning and inhaling the aroma like he’d just gotten a delicious whiff of fresh bread at a bakery. It should be obvious that I’m one-of-a-kind. So imagine my surprise when I went to a strip club a few years ago and lo-and-behold, meet Denise, or Neecy. This...

Easy Cum, Easy Go

Yes, I know. It’s been FOREVER since I’ve blogged. And you know what I have realized? As much as I enjoy writing, I do not like to blog, lol. But either way. I am excited for all the new opportunities that have come my way since my last post! First off, I have signed my first publishing contract with Life Changing Books (LCB). Actually, I had two interested publishing companies with two contracts but I after a lot of research, I decided LCB was a better fit for my goals as a writer. I had a lawyer review the contract, sent it off, and we’re currently in the revisions stage. They said the book should be launched around June or July and I am beyond excited! Second, I have sent the paperwork off for my word ‘spiceual’ to get trademarked. I am looking to make that the focus of my entire brand. Spiceual apparel, calendars, etc. I figured that is the first step in that direction so I’m waiting for the approval from the patent and trademark office for that. Also, I finally finished my short story and I plan on giving that away in the next couple of weeks. I figured that would be a great way to build my audience and give everyone a little taste of my talent (or as I advertise on social media, a taste of the #spiceual experience). I had a cover created and the story is currently in the editing stage by someone I found on fiverr.com. I’m hoping this will get my name out there so by the time my book drops, I’ll...

Pleasure

His eyes ate first, taking in the steaming dishes like air. Chicken, ham, turkey, pasta, rolls, greens, cakes, pies, food, food, food. He’d missed it like a foreign lover and she’d now returned, beckoning him with a coy smile and a lazy finger. A bit of dribble slithered from his parted lips and fell to stain the linen tablecloth. His trembling hand slid her closer and he closed his eyes to inhale. The sexy fragrance caressed His face like a silky wine. He could still remember the taste. When a tear trailed down his flushed cheek, His lover’s scent wiped it away and urged him to...
